  1. Download the KDE installer.
  2. Select C:\KDE4 as your base install and download directory
  3. Select bin/lib/doc for amarok-mingw and pcre-mingw
  4. Right-click My Computer | Advanced | Environment Variables
    1. Click Add, KDEDIRS as C:\KDE4\
    2. Double-click Path System Variable and add ';C:\KDE4' to the end
  5. Open cmd and cd to C:\kde4\bin
    1. update-mime-database C:\KDE4\share\mime
    2. kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental
  6. Run amarok.exe
